Our beauty client is seeking a Digital Content Writer to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This role is hybrid – on-site 3x a week.
Day to Day:
- Self-starter, pick up on concepts to create long form or short form articles, content/blog and emails, heavy emphasis on calibration with other teams, being able to pass through multiple edits due to the nature of brand
- Produce copy for email marketing and skinbetter.com blog that adheres to style guide and ensure consistency in tone of voice
- Cross check facts with existing brand materials and clinical studies
- Follow the writing schedule to complete articles within deadlines
- Collaborate with other members of team to ensure timely delivery of content
- Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in articles or content
Qualifications:
- 3+ years writing digitally focus copy in the beauty, or personal care category
- Experience with project management tool. i.e.) Wrike, Asana
- Experience writing for medical beauty and pharma, a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
- Experience working with legal review process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and well organized
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.81 to $40.91 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
