Overview

As the Director of Global Talent Management this role will be responsible for developing and executing the global Repligen Talent Management strategy that will assist in driving the business forward and advancing the professional development of our employees.   This includes developing and implementing global talent management and succession planning initiatives, talent management programs, tools, and processes, focusing on performance management, succession planning, talent management and strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR and the business to develop and implement strategies, policies, processes, and programs that align with business objectives and support talent retention, and development.
  • Lead the design and implementation of talent and learning processes within Workday
  • Focus on improving the health of critical talent pipelines by enhancing how we define, manage and measure success and increase the number of ready-now successors for critical roles.  
  • Enhance and enable talent mobility by developing and implementing a structured career mobility and career progression framework.
  • Develop & implement global leadership competencies to enhance and accurately measure leadership capabilities amongst the team.
  • Own and drive corporate talent review activities and cadence as well driving follow-up actions that build organization capability required to achieve business strategy.
  • Establish and monitor organization and talent metrics aligned to business strategy targeted leadership development/coaching that aligns behavior with leadership expectations and drives business outcomes.
  • Oversee the employee performance management process, which includes setting goals, performing evaluations, providing individual feedback, and coaching them as needed.
  • Develop and deliver front-line leadership training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce, including leadership development programs to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
  • Lead change management for key talent and culture initiatives at local and global levels.
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent management programs and make data-driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as universities, professional organizations, and learning organizations.
  • Partner with HR and the business to continue to drive a culture of inclusion and engagement
  • Leverage best practices, external HR, and industry trends to develop best in class talent management strategies and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in talent management, human resources, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a global leadership role.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing and sustaining talent management programs and strategies.
  • Proficiency in using HR technology platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred - implementing Talent Modules within Workday is a plus
  • Strong understanding of talent development, and retention best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to build external relationships with universities, professional associations etc.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Travel up to 15-20% required
