Email Marketing Specialist
Position Overview
Our nonprofit client is currently seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join their team as a freelancer. This role will involve building, sending, and analyzing email campaigns. This will also be a fully remote position and you will work 20-25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and schedule 4 weekly newsletters, 1 monthly newsletter, and additional ad hoc newsletters as needed.
- Work with the marketing team to gather content, including copy and images, through Wrike.
- Transfer the content into HubSpot email templates, ensuring everything is in the correct format.
- Send test emails to a small group for proofing and feedback.
- Update and finalize emails based on feedback, ensuring accuracy in copy, links, and overall design.
- Proofread content for accuracy, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines.
- Validate links, images, and formatting across different devices to ensure email display consistency.
- Manage and update HubSpot email lists, ensuring the correct audience receives the right emails.
- Analyze email campaign performance (open rates, click rates, etc.), and provide reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- HubSpot Management: Utilize HubSpot to create, manage, and analyze email campaigns. Immediate proficiency with HubSpot is required.
- Email Campaign Execution: Ensure the timely dispatch of 4 weekly newsletters, 1 monthly newsletter, and any ad hoc newsletters.
- Collaboration: Work with the team that writes copy and selects images. Retrieve content from Wrike, format it in HubSpot templates, and send test emails to a review group.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate with proofreaders to verify the accuracy of email content and links, making necessary updates based on feedback.
- List Management: Once approved, ensure newsletters are correctly sent to the subscription list.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Wrike and a very detail-oriented nature.
