This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2025. Resume review begins in January 2025.
The US Customer Data & Insight (CD&I) are thought-partners responsible for understanding therapeutic area and brand performance by leveraging structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights, inform strategy and customer understanding, and execute projects. The intern will play a critical partnership role within the CD&I team.
Position Description
The intern will partner with multiple forecasters to streamline processes, templates and forecasting techniques. Detailed description of role including but not limited to:
- Collect, interpret and synthesize insights to generate actionable recommendations to Brand team
- Evaluate different Therapeutic Area forecast models and identify areas of improvement
- Stay updated on new trends and methodologies in analytics and forecasting and bring innovative ideas forward to enhance the organization's capabilities.
Example projects may include:
- Co-creating an executive dashboard
- Conducting a couple of analytics projects
- Co-developing a forecast
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill set, including Excel modeling skills
- High comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing using Excel and other modeling tools, and visualizing data via standard tools/charting methods
- Ability to effectively present and defend analyses
To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college or university
Education
Master/ PhD
- Bachelor's degree required
- Enrolled in an accredited Graduate program (including MBA or PhD)

- This role is hybrid in Cambridge, MA
