What You Will Be Doing
* Oversee multiple functional areas within the forward and aft fuselage, ensuring operational efficiency across the production process.
* Provide strategic leadership to drive accountability and ensure the team meets cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
* Manage and analyze cost and performance metrics, implementing improvements to maintain operational efficiency.
* Lead and support recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluations, work assignments, salary administration, and recognition or disciplinary actions for team members.
* Provide clear task direction to department subordinates, aligning team efforts with operational goals.
* Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, customers, and industry peers across various management levels.
* Identify and implement solutions to production challenges, optimizing workflow and ensuring smooth operations.

Basic Qualifications:
* Manufacturing Operations Experience.
* Prior leadership experience in union represented work environment.
* Through knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with general Aeronautics requirements.
* Previous Lockheed Martin C130 experience
Desired Skills:
* Five years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
* Exceptional people skills.
* Coordination of multi-function responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
