As a Production Manager in our facility, this individual will provide mentoring, coaching and train all production supervisors to develop effective and efficient teams. Collaborate with Plant Steering Team to focus on increasing employee and leadership engagement, developing KPIs and analyzing data, and implement short- and long-term strategies, including project leadership, efficiency, cost reduction and employee engagement. This position requires the ability to handle information and documents professionally and confidentially.
Hours/Shift: Night Shift - midnight - 9:00 am (Sunday -Thursday); this role may require weekends or holidays as needed.
Job Duties (Key Deliverables):
Meet at least weekly with Supervisors and Managers to review production KPIs.
Analyze and report weekly and monthly KPI regarding the production capacity of the plant equipment, downtime (planned v unplanned), staffing levels, etc.
Coordinate cross functional team to improve efficiencies of the plant based on findings.
Partner with cross-functional leadership team to ensure and monitor proper operations support to meet or exceed annual scorecard and elevate and prioritize issues that need addressed.
Strong production floor presence.
Communicate effectively, timely, and professionally with co-workers, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data reaches all audiences.
Adapt well to changing priorities with a positive and professional demeanor.
Create and enhance professional relationships with upstream and downstream key stake holders to facilitate communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
Maintain Plant Scorecard Dashboard.
Experience-Education (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering or related field and 5 plus years of supervisory/management experience in food processing/manufacturing operations with solid progressive leadership experience
Strong presentation, communication, training, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of understanding the drivers of product and labor cost variances.
Previous experience working as a team leader in a multi-faceted team.

Experience-Education (Preferred):
Master's degree in a relevant field
Intermediate to Advanced Power BI
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):
High Speed Manufacturing experience
Demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement Processes and/or Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt
Responsible for department costs to budget through effective manpower planning, and scheduling.
Salary Range: $91,120 - $136,680
