GENERAL PURPOSE:To provide analysis, research, and other professional level support to the compensation function. Support management in the design, development, implementation and administration of pay programs including base pay, salary administration, salary surveys, job descriptions and evaluations, salary/market pricing analysis, and incentive programs. This position will be proactively conducting day-to-day compensation program administration.
The base salary/pay range for this role is $75,700 - $113,650. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Performs competitive pay analysis and modeling in support of merit and incentive programs. Conducts complex market pay reviews for ongoing job evaluation needs.
* Analyzes, documents, and evaluates new and revised jobs to drive development of job descriptions and recommend appropriate grade level and FLSA status using market data and internal comparisons to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
* Leads annual compensation planning processes (Focal), including salary structure updates, merit increases implementation, and incentive awards modeling.
* Reviews requests for pay actions, including promotions and salary equity adjustments, for conformance to guidelines, policies and practices in collaboration with HR business partners. Performs market research and makes recommendations to address requests outside of pay guidelines.
* Formulates recommendations regarding development and maintenance of compensation guidelines, salary structure, merit increase budget and geographic differentials to maintain competitive position in the market.
* Prepares and analyzes salary survey data submissions. Uses results from survey data to determine organization's competitive position.
* Reviews, updates, and maintains Compensation related data in the HRM system, the market data tool, and the Compensation planning tool.
* Analyzes impact of changes on compensation costs resulting from statutory requirements governing compensation administration in jurisdictions where the company operates. Identifies and models recommended implementation options.
* Monitors compensation practices and ensures compliance with laws and regulations and advises management of regulatory changes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 3-5 years progressive analytical experience, preferably within Compensation, Finance, or other HR discipline
* CCP or course work completed towards CCP preferred
* Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data to support findings and recommendations
* Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) with advanced Excel experience (macros, v-lookups, pivot tables, and other advanced functions); experience querying and working with large datasets
* Experience with job evaluation and market pricing methods
* Flexible and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, with dual ability to function effectively working independently
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
* Strong organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to appreciate a fast-changing business environment and understand the need for urgency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including attending in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work. #LI-Hybrid
